FerroFinestra comprises a range of hot-rolled, cold-formed and laser-welded steel window profiles. Steel windows have long been the preferred choice of architects, especially when their function is to add a significant contribution to the character and overall appearance of a building. The minimalist aesthetics of solid hot-rolled steel profiles and their ability to shape windows are unique. Their slender lines give lightness to the frames, emphasizing the transparency of a façade. This elegance is difficult to match with the bulky profiles of alternative materials.
The FerroFinestra W50 TB system takes the fascinating style of the 1930s in its most authentic form. The innovative high-density polyurethane isolator used for the thermal barrier, together with the possibility of housing high-performance glazing, allow it to fully respond to current regulations and contemporary needs for comfort. It is also ideal for use in extreme weather conditions, where the traditional FerroFinestra may not be sufficient.
The new profile series W60 TB shares the simple, rational and slender design of the successful FerroFinestra family of products. The depth of these profiles has been limited to 60 mm which allows them to accommodate energy-efficient insulating glazing up to 37 mm. The result is a very balanced compromise between design and thermal performance. The innovative fibreglass-reinforced polyamide insulator helps to achieve very good insulation even with a compact profile design. The new thermal barrier steel window system encompasses more than 20 profiles in four steel finishes: steel, galvanized steel, Cor-Ten steel and stainless steel (Aisi 316L).
The elegant and slender lines of FerroFinestra W60 TB are also available in the prestigious architectural bronze, under the name of BronzoFinestra W60 TB. This noble series has been developed for projects with the highest demands.
The FerroFinestra W75 TB system offers the utmost thermal insulation with minimalist profiles, and also includes a tilt-and-turn opening mechanism. Available in bright steel, galvanized steel, Aisi 316L stainless steel and Cor-Ten steel, the new FerroFinestra W75 TB has a profile depth of 75 mm, to allow the housing of highly-efficient insulating glazing up to 52 mm. The fibreglass-reinforced polyamide insulator guarantees excellent thermal insulation, making the system ideal for projects in climatically demanding areas, where energy-saving regulations are extremely high.
In addition to classic strip galvanizing, we also offer bright steel (not galvanized), Cor-Ten steel and stainless steel (1.4404) versions. The assortment is rounded off by a wide range of exclusive fittings and accessories reproduced from original designs of the modern age. This allows the realization of all common opening types (inside and outside opening) for windows and doors, including tilt-and-turn windows. The system is available with a flush or overlapping design.
