The Bermondsey Town Hall had a full window replacement by West Leigh Limited in the late 1980s. However, the council moved out in 2010.
The building was sold to developer Hollybrook Limited and has now been redeveloped into luxury apartments. With West Leigh’s various skills, these windows have been overhauled - some have been replaced and others have been changed to doors to allow access to terrace areas and patios.
As can be seen from the photographs, the integrity of the building has been maintained, and the luxury apartments now benefit from modern steel windows.
Modern steel windows are double glazed and thermally efficient to meet the latest building standards. Fire-rated West Leigh doors are also available.
